Description of the project: Survey of the ecological features present in the implementation area of the North Tower of the Colombo Shopping Centre, with the development of the Biodiversity Management Plan and calculation of the Urban Green Factor, which provided the basis for promoting and enhancing biodiversity associated with the built area.
BREEAM (Building Research Establishment Environmental Assessment Method) New Construction – Coimbra Editora Building

Description of the project: Integrated ecological assessment within the BREEAM New Construction certification process for the new headquarters of Critical Software, in the Coimbra Editora building, aimed at characterising the ecological value of the development site and proposing measures to enhance biodiversity. The project involved a biodiversity audit, the definition of improvement measures and the preparation of a Biodiversity Management Plan. The methodologies applied included fauna and flora surveys, document analysis and the application of criteria from the “Land Use and Ecology” category of BREEAM.
Consultancy Services for the Quantification of CO₂ Emissions Reduction for Odivelas Municipality

Description of the project: Assessment of the contribution of existing trees on the land designated for the future Odivelas City Park to carbon sequestration, with the aim of estimating the amount of CO₂ removed from the atmosphere prior to project implementation. The analysis was based on dendrometric field measurements and the application of specific allometric equations to determine biomass and, from this, the carbon accumulated by the trees.
